Postmodern Smirk

You know how it is. You get a family together and the pictures turn out, well... This was not a picture you'd want to hang on a wall, but it turned out to be the perfect subject for this drawing.

To this day, I cannot define "postmodernism" as it relates to art. I have not done extensive studying on it, but I did see a profile of a contemporary artist a few years ago whose work exemplified what I thought to be postmodern. After watching the program, I quickly sketched this drawing out in my mind.

I put the concept and my brother together in this drawing to illustrate my interpretation of postmodernism. Interpret it in your own way.
